INGREDIENTS

1. **For the brownie:**
– 200 g dark chocolate
– 100g butter
– 3 eggs
– 1 cup of sugar
– 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 cup of wheat flour
– 1/4 teaspoon of salt

2. **Strawberry Filling:**
– 2 cups of chopped fresh strawberries
– 1/4 cup of sugar
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch (corn starch)
– 2 tablespoons of water

ELABORATION

1. **Strawberry Filling:** In a skillet, combine the chopped strawberries and sugar. Cook over medium heat until the strawberries release their juice. Mix the cornstarch with the water and add it to the strawberries, cooking and stirring until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and reserve.

2. **Brownie:** Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl in a double boiler or in the microwave. Once melted, mix well until you get a homogeneous mass.

3. In another bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until creamy. Add the essence of vanilla. Then, add the chocolate and butter mixture.

4. Add flour and salt, mixing just until incorporated.

5. Pour half of the brownie mix into a previously greased pan. Add the strawberry filling on top, distributing evenly. Top with the rest of the brownie mix.

6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few crumbs stuck to it. It shouldn’t come out completely clean, as the brownie should be moist inside.

7. Let cool in the mold before cutting into portions.
